History
Cedrela began in one of the most impoverished areas of Lagos, where poverty, crime, and gang activity have made it difficult for many young people to find a path toward a better future. Seeing the need, God placed a vision on the hearts of Victoria and William Udotong to establish a school where young people could receive an excellent education while being introduced to the hope and truth of Jesus Christ.
Impact
From that initial leap of faith into the unknown, but with the assurance that it was from God, Cedrela has grown over 5 years to 100 students. The school has recently applied to be government approved so that graduates will be eligible to continue their education at the university level. The greatest impact of Cedrela College is not measured simply in diplomas or university acceptance. Many Cedrela students and their parents have come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
